ScRAmbLed EgGs!

Don't you just love these plastic eggs? You can do so many fun activities with them!

My students have had so much fun with this center activity this past week! I used our spelling words for the week. I simply numbered each egg with a marker. I put one word in each plastic egg. I cut apart the word and put the letters inside the eggs. The goal was to unscramble the letters to spell the word and write the word correctly in the corresponding egg on the recording sheet.

Each spelling unit has 2 dictation sentences, too. I printed the words to the sentence, cut apart the words and put them in eggs as well. The students had to unscramble the words to make the sentence and write it on the recording sheet in the correct order.

Welcome!

Welcome to Grade One Fun with Mrs. Roper! I have been blog stalking for just a little over a year now and have been wanting to join the world of blogging as a teacher for quite some time now. I am continually amazed with all of the creativity and inspiration going on out there. I have instant access to amazing and creative teachers all over the world through their blogs and websites. I wanted to get in on it for sure! Thank you to all of the awesome teachers for sharing! I am truly inspired and couldn't wait to start my own blog to share the fun that's going on in my class!

It's my first day of Spring Break and I have spent the entire day setting up my blog! I'm excited to meet new people, have new opportunities and of course, HAVE FUN!
